Kids/Youth Ministry at Eden

We equip our kids and youth with a relational and interactive style that means they learn in a way that suits them. As such, our  age-appropriate groups for 4-16 year olds, run by our brilliant DBS checked team, means they learn to experience and know God for themselves whilst making friends for life.

For under 4s, you are welcome to join our crèche where you can watch the gathering via a live audio-visual feed to the auditorium with some support volunteers available.

For over 4s, here’s what to expect on your first visit:

1. Say Hello

When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted by our welcome team. Let them know you’ve got children/youth with you, and they’ll take you to meet the kids/youth team for that morning.

2. Sign In

Chat to our kids team, who will sign your children into our system. Any personal information is kept completely confidential and never shared.

3. Follow Us

At 11am(ish), the MC will announce when it’s time for kids/youth church to begin.

Feel free to go upstairs with them or show them to the back of the auditorium if they’re happy to follow the others.

4. Sign Out

Kids and youth church ends at 12:15pm, giving you time to receive prayer ministry without needing to rush away. Sign out your child/youth.

They can join the rest of the church family for refreshments and play some games available in the foyer.

5. Relax

Stick around for tea and coffee with us, and let your kids and youth play/hangout with their new friends!

What does it look like?

Kids are not secondary to grown-ups in ministry – they are central. There is no kids version of the Holy Spirit.

In a relational environment they learn to develop spiritual gifts, discover their destiny and how to influence their world to bring Heaven to Earth. They are equipped to be Holy Spirit aware: secure in their identity as sons and daughters to Father God and adept in the Scriptures .

On Sundays our toddlers (0-3), have the choice to be downstairs in our foyer with audio-visual links for the parents. Our kids (4-9), and youth (10-16) are upstairs. They also meet as small groups twice each month on a midweek night.
